Spring

According to my van Gogh calendar it's Spring. According to all my senses it's Fall. We even had chunky snow today. At least it didn't stick. If you look closely at the ground you'll see small green stalks poking through the ground. I think the deer in my back yard saw them too.

Life is good. Excited to meet our new dog tomorrow. He's a rescue, pit bull/boxer type. If you told me a year ago I'd be interested in adopting a pit I'd say no way, or something like that. It just so happens I caught some episodes of Pit Boss when I was sick a few months ago and realized these dogs have a seriously bad rep. We'll see what happens with this guy. I'll post photos if all goes well and he doesn't eat my cats.

I've been pondering starting up my own business doing something I love. I know it's a grand perhaps delusional dream but it just may be a reality very soon.

I am an artist of sorts with an eye for detail and love of photography, history and literature..among other things. This combination and the inability to afford the professional services of Moto Photo prompted me to purchase a scanner and start fixing my old, damaged photos. I've been providing my services free of charge for about ten years thus refining my photoshop skills.

My good friend Jason Gunn is working on my extremely awesome website and I'll keep you posted when that is up and running.

Some recent restoration work...

This is a wonderful old photograph sent to me by my friends mother. She explained this is the only photograph of her uncle (the adult) and the little boy is her father. I just loved the little sailor suit and had a great time working on this all the while hoping it's owner would be pleased with the result....
